Based in Barcelona, the HR Manager will manage the provision of HR services for three different countries, including Spain. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Implementation of HR strategy aligned with organizational business goals
- Management of all aspects of the recruitment process, talent retention, succession planning, etc.
- Ensuring Organizational conformity with applicable HR related regulations for each country
- Implementing, maintaining and updating organizational procedures and policies
- Creating employee training and development programs
- Creating and implementing employee review system
- Managing the payroll process and benefits administration
- Providing practical support to managers on HR procedures and any issues (grievance, disciplinary, performance, etc)
- Conducting new employee orientation programs and other training programs
- Maintaining an employee oriented culture that emphasizes teamwork, ethics, high work standards, fairness and fun § Managing HR coordinator

- Ability to develop HR programs and policies based on business requirements
- Strong project management, communication and leadership skills
- Strong business acumen - able to quickly grasp business strategies and objectives
- Demonstrated multitasking and time management skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to mentor and motivate staff
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Knowledge of both UK and Spanish employment law
- Native level English and Spanish both written and spoken
- We are looking for a candidate holding a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR management or Business Administration with at least 8 years HR Management experience within an international organization in the UK and Spain. Having experience in acquisition integration, change management and launching a stock option plan will be a definite plus.
